Highly nutritious fruit and increasing demand for value added products.
The crop is highly productive, remunerative and is amenable for year-round production through canopy management and sustainable production through GAP.
The training will help on the good agricultural practices to be adopted in guava cultivation including improved varieties, water and nutrient management, canopy architecture, pest and disease management and value addition.
The participants will get first-hand experience in quality planting material production including methods of propagation, training and crop regulation techniques in guava.
